Pursuant to the Decision on the allocation of funds, the Development projects foundation CIRCLE’ has been granted the opportunity to implement the ‘Golden Embroidery’ project, which fosters an inclusive and multicultural society.
Recognizing that Montenegro’s folklore heritage is exceptionally rich, diverse, and worthy of preservation, the Foundation ‘CIRCLE’ identified the need for an initiative that will contribute to the promotion of this heritage, as well as the strengthening of intercultural cooperation by reducing ethnic distance within Montenegrin society.
The main project activity involves organizing a festival of various folklore ensembles in the Municipality of Andrijevica, with an implementation period of six months. The project is supported by the Fund for the protection and realization of minority rights of Montenegro. To that end, the Financing Agreement was signed yesterday at the Fund’s premises, officially launching the project activities.
