Building a Sustainable Future Together

The Foundation for Development Projects Circle was established with the goal of creating and implementing opportunities for sustainable and equitable community development. The Foundation focuses on projects and initiatives that improve quality of life — from supporting economic development, education, culture, and sports, to strengthening democratic values and protecting the environment. Through its activities, the Foundation connects institutions, organizations, and citizens in order to build together values that are more resilient, innovative, and prepared for the European future of our community. We place special emphasis on the development of rural areas, digital skills, and international cooperation, as well as on values that affirm individual rights and freedoms, because we believe that only through knowledge, solidarity, and collective action can we create a society that is truly human-centered. The MISSION of the KRUG Foundation is to strengthen local capacities and promote the values of social progress in all areas — through development projects (economic, social, technological, scientific-research, cultural, sports, social, and environmental) — thereby contributing to solidarity and European integration. Our VISION includes the implementation of diverse projects that improve the quality of life in local communities and create conditions for further development.

History

From Vision to Action in Northern Montenegro

The Circle Foundation was born from the initiative of young and ambitious people from northern Montenegro, determined to offer creative solutions and create opportunities for community prosperity. Faced with numerous challenges — such as insufficient economic development, youth migration, underdeveloped infrastructure, and a lack of affirmation of individual rights and freedoms — they decided to establish an organization that would, through projects and collaboration, spark change across many areas of life.

In August 2025, this idea became reality with the founding of the Foundation for Development Projects KRUG. From the very beginning, numerous projects have been launched, bringing visible results to the broader community in various fields.

Each project carried out represents more than just an activity — it is a step toward a society that values innovation, supports growth, nurtures young people, and encourages active citizen participation in public life. These achievements confirm that the Circle Foundation is both a reliable partner and a driving force behind the changes yet to come — especially in the northern region of Montenegro.

The goals of the Circle Foundation are focused on creating sustainable development and improving quality of life.
The Foundation initiates and implements projects in the fields of economy, science, culture, sports, social inclusion, and environmental protection, as well as the promotion and affirmation of human rights and freedoms, and the connection of organizations, institutions, and citizens for joint action. Special attention is dedicated to strengthening local democracy, active citizenship, and European values, as well as encouraging digital and technological innovation.

Our activities include the development of rural areas, agriculture, agri-production, and forestry, infrastructure improvement, biodiversity preservation, tourism and green economy growth, promotion of culture and creative industries, empowerment of individual rights and freedoms, and creation of conditions for sports development.

Through knowledge exchange, digitalization of social processes, and international cooperation, we are building a community ready for the future.

The Foundation’s activities cover a wide range of initiatives contributing to the overall development of society. We focus on economic growth through the development of startups, entrepreneurship, and new business initiatives, while also fostering climate resilience and green transition through projects that reduce emissions and promote energy efficiency.

We actively participate in public policy shaping and reform promotion, while working on environmental protection, circular economy development, and preservation of natural resources. Particular attention is devoted to social inclusion, supporting people with disabilities, unemployed women, youth, and minority communities, promoting equal opportunities for all.
